Another long-pending movie, finally caught up with it on DVD last night.
An excellent cast, great screen play and fantastic camera work make Hurt Locker an absorbing movie, although it feels more like a documentary with an Iraq-based theme and no story line. A tad too long too. A slightly edited version, revolving around a bomb disposal team with a mission, rather than a series of unconnected and unrelated events, would have added tremendously to the appeal.
For die hard war movie fans, this is a must see, though.
