I'll keep this short - QoS has some great action, a good car chase, an interesting dog-fight sequence, Olga makes for a good sultry Bond babe, and overall, the movie is zippy and keeps you engaged throughout...
But, it doesn't feel like a Bond movie. He doesn't call himself Bond, James Bond, the theme music is missing, the gadgets are missing... so while it's a good action movie, it seems more like something from the Bourne series!
Overall, definitely a good watch!

The movie really failed in keeping me involved. I'm not sure I would compare it with a Bourne movie either - those are much better!
There are a few interesting moments - like the car chase in the beginning or the scene at the Opera. But all of that is not enough to add substance to the movie.
I agree that there were no gadgets or hot chicks. But I do think that they are building up Bond's character slowly in every movie. They've shown him moving towards other women after losing his first love in Casino. They've also done a good job in showing how he avoids "killing every possible lead".. You can see him grow smarter for sure..
You don't build up a character 40 years after he was created and then immortalized in around two dozen movies yaar... you might as well create a new one in that case, na?
