Quote for the Day

Thomas Friedman in New York Times....

"When we were young kids growing up in America, we were told to eat our vegetables at dinner and not leave them. Mothers said, think of the starving children in India and finish the dinner.' And now I tell my children: 'Finish your homework. Think of the children in India who would make you starve, if you don't.'"

Interesting quote... Makes you smile until you think a step ahead... Both the Americans and the Indians will soon have to worry about the Chinese, the Japanese, and other South East Asian countries... Our Time Right Now.. But the way I see it - while things have been easier for us for quite some time, we are most definitely diving into a world of fierce competition.. Indians will Need to Gear Up! I worry that there's a certain amount of complacency seeping into Young India.. Lets hope we, as a country, atleast strategize ourself appropriately to generate employment for our own people as well as to pull enough money from outside..

I do not think things have been easy - I think we work like hell. Yes, there are people who are probably getting complacent, losing track of reality, and they will pay the price. But as a country, I think we have atleast 15-20 glorious years ahead of us.
