There was a time when monsoons meant a complete shut down in Goa. Not any more. With great roads, and an upwardly mobile population, Goa is now a popular destination, especially on weekends, throughout the year.

As the evening wore on, the Drishti life guards had a tough time controlling the crowds, ensuring they got out of the dangerously rising tide waters. To their credit, they stuck to their guns, with patience, till every tourist was safely out of the water.
