Spiderman In The Making

The exciting thing about living in a village is the rich diversity of life - and when a bright, green, fat spider comes underneath your bare feet and stings you with a powerful dose of venom, you know you are the chosen one.

Something similar happened to me last weekend in Goa - got bitten by this venomous Green Huntsman Spider (Family Sparassidae). Spent some anxious moments, but since the only effect seemed to be a gooey web coming out from the base of my palms, it was all for good!
