At 5.00 pm today in Sanewadi, Aundh. A beautiful, sleepy Sunday in May. The gulmohars in bloom, the roads clean, the trees green and happy with the pre-monsoon showers. And three teams playing cricket on the wonderfully cleaned and prepared ground, surrounded by peaceful, pretty societies, lined by tree-canopied streets.
What a wonderful life, what a beautiful, peaceful city. The fruits of a beautiful democracy, a life we live, but rarely appreciate!
