India beat Sri Lanka in a nail biting T20 encounter. Chasing 172 to win, India had lost 7 wickets with just 127 on the board, when the Pathan brothers showed what the new India is all about... a smashing six at long off bringing the winning runs with couple of balls to spare.

At 115/7 I closed the website and decided to do some work. But 15 mins and some "brotherly carnage" later , I was elated. The Sri Lankans were left gaping and then gasping for breath as they scurried for cover from the sixes. Way to go Pathan power.
That's what is amazing about this Indian team - they just take things so cooly, and the "collapse" we were so used to when we were kids just doesn't happen any mpre. If our number 8 and 9 can hit 50 in 25 balls to win a match, I think we are in great shape :)
