Here's a zombie movie that is so refreshingly different!
The world has been run over by walking corpses and skeletons, the result of an apocalyptic event. A small group of humans, protected by a heavy armed force, struggles to survive in a small walled section of the destroyed city. When one of the human teams, out on a mission to bring some medicines from the abandoned city, is over run by a group of corpses, an unusual thing happens - one of the corpses, having eaten the brain of a victim, feels something warm inside his heart, and falls in love with the boy's girl friend.
How will this unusual story end? Can humans co-exist with the zombies, or will one end up being the other?
Teresa Palmer, as the female lead, is stunningly attractive and strong competition for Bella, while Nicholas Hoult as "R" can pretty much hold his own against the vampires and the wolves.
From a life perspective, the movie has some beautiful moments... like when R talks about how the now-defunct airport must have been so much fun earlier, where people could simply enjoy each other's company - whereas nowadays, all he does is aimlessly wander about. So much like the life many of us lead, isn't it?

I mostly love zombie movies, and I always love seeing a different take on the genre, especially one where you actually believe in the love between a zombie and a human. Good review Siddhesh.
